Pop Culture Pop-Up – Wonder Woman’s New Clothes

“What woman wears the same outfit for 70 years?” That’s the question DC comics writer J. Michael Straczynski asks us. The answer? No one, not even Wonder Woman. She’s got a whole new rough gal get-up–no more stripes and certainly no more glitter. We say: Ick. Some questions for you to ponder: Who is even wearing pants anymore? Artist Jim Lee (who apparently gave Wonder Woman black leggings) obviously hasn’t met Beyonce. And can Megan Fox, who’s rumored to star as Wonder Woman in a new movie, take on Lynda Carter’s classic spin transformation? Um, no. No, she cannot.
